Applegreen is an Irish fuel and convenience company, best known in the Republic of Ireland. It also holds the controlling stake in UK motorway services operator Welcome Break.
In 2025 Applegreen sold almost all of its petrol stations in England, Scotland and Wales to EG On The Move. The Applegreen-branded stations left in the UK are run by Welcome Break: a handful of A-road stops in England and several in Northern Ireland, including Lisburn and Templepatrick services.
Applegreen's Rewards app only works at Republic of Ireland stations, so UK drivers shouldn't expect app discounts on fuel. Many Welcome Break sites have Applegreen Electric ultra-rapid chargers, which are cheaper per kWh if you pay with the Applegreen app.
