Who we are

PetrolSavings.com is operated by PetrolSavings, which acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What data we collect

  • Postcode and location searches (used only to return nearby results).
  • Contact form submissions: name, email, subject, message.
  • Consent preferences stored in the ps_consent cookie.
  • Analytics events only when consent is granted. As of 7 February 2026, third-party analytics are not active.
  • Advertising identifiers (Google AdSense) only when consent is granted and ads are enabled.
  • reCAPTCHA scores when spam protection is enabled and consent allows.

How we use data

  • Deliver search results, station pages, and calculators.
  • Maintain site performance and detect abuse.
  • Improve the product using aggregated analytics (if enabled and consented).
  • We will publish a new policy version date before enabling third-party analytics.
  • Support advertising (Google AdSense) or affiliate features when consented.

Data sharing

We only share data with trusted providers required to operate the service, including:

  • Analytics providers (not currently active as of 7 February 2026; if enabled, consented only).
  • Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection (when enabled and consented).
  • TomTom for map tiles and routing.
  • Google AdSense (advertising network; only when ads are enabled and consented).
  • Cloudflare for CDN and security.
  • Hosting infrastructure providers.

  2. Include enough detail for us to identify the data and verify your identity.
  3. We confirm receipt, review the request, and reply with the outcome.

We aim to respond to most requests within 30 days. If a request is complex, we will tell you about any extension and the reason for it.
