How it works

  1. Enter where you're starting and where you're going: a postcode, town or village.
  2. We find stations within your chosen distance of the road route (you can change it under Advanced options).
  3. Stations are ranked by estimated total cost: the pump price plus the fuel to drive there and back to the route, so a cheap station miles away doesn't win by default.

Every price shows when it last changed, and motorway services are marked so you can compare them with stops just off the route.

Yes. Every route page has dedicated unleaded and diesel links so you can switch fuels without changing route.

Low-confidence prices and temporarily closed stations are never marked as cheapest. Older prices can still be cheapest, so check when each price last changed.

Within 5 miles of the road route by default. Open Advanced options to choose 3, 5, 10 or 15 miles: a wider distance finds more stations, but some will mean a longer detour.

Yes. Motorway services are included and marked, and when one is near your route the results show how much more it costs than the cheapest stop.

Every station shows when its price last changed. Prices that have not changed for 30 days or more are labelled, so check at the pump before relying on them.
