Gleaner is a family-owned Scottish fuel company, founded in Moray in 1954 and now run by the fourth generation of the family. It supplies heating oil and business fuels from nine depots, including on Islay and Mull.
Gleaner stations are found mainly in the Highlands, Aberdeenshire, Moray and Argyll, including on the islands. Some are owned by Gleaner; many others are local garages, post offices and village shops that sell Gleaner fuel.
On remote routes these stations can be the nearest fuel for many miles, but opening hours are often shorter than in towns. Check the station page before relying on one.
