About Gulf Fuel

known for its heritage in motorsport and quality fuel products, Gulf Oil was established in 1901, with its origins linked to the discovery of oil at Spindletop in Texas. Over the years, it evolved into a major global oil company, recognised for its innovative approaches to fuel distribution and marketing. Although Gulf Oil Corporation ceased to operate as an independent entity in 1985 after merging with Standard Oil of California, the Gulf brand has continued to thrive under new ownership.

In the UK, Gulf Oil is now part of Certas Energy, which manages its operations and oversees a wide network of service stations. This partnership has enabled Gulf to maintain its brand presence while expanding its reach across the country.

Gulf petrol stations offer a range of fuel products tailored to meet diverse customer needs:

Gulf Synergy Fuels: These include Gulf Synergy petrol and diesel, designed with advanced formulations that help improve engine performance and efficiency.

Gulf Diesel: Known for its quality formulation, this diesel is suitable for all diesel engines and helps enhance fuel economy.

Gulf Premium Fuels: These fuels contain additives that provide additional cleaning benefits and improved performance for modern vehicles.

Gulf Loyalty Scheme

Gulf has a loyalty programme called Oomph Rewards, which lets customers earn points whenever they purchase fuel. Members collect 1 point for every litre of Gulf unleaded or diesel, and 2 points for every litre of Endurance Super Premium fuel. Additionally, they earn 20 points for any Gulf-branded lubricants and 1 point for every £1 spent in-store (excluding certain items like tobacco and car washes).

To get started, customers simply need to register their Oomph card online or through the Gulf app. Once registered, they can start collecting points right away. These points can be redeemed for discounts on future fuel purchases or other rewards.

Oomph Rewards also includes exciting monthly prize draws where members can win various prizes, from tech bundles to family holidays. Plus, customers can donate their points to local charities, helping to support community initiatives.
