About BP Fuel
BP's origins trace back to 1909 when the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC) was established to tap into oil discoveries in Iran. Over the years, the company has transformed significantly, evolving into the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company in 1935 and later rebranding as British Petroleum in 1954. Today, BP stands as a major multinational oil and gas enterprise with operations spanning the globe.
In the UK, BP operates over 1,200 service stations, which include more than 300 BP-owned sites and nearly 900 dealer-operated locations. Many of these stations offer a variety of amenities, such as Wild Bean Café and M&S Food, providing customers with food and drink options alongside their fuel purchases.
BP is renowned for its high-quality fuels, particularly its premium offerings. One of their fuel products is BP Ultimate, designed to enhance engine performance and fuel efficiency. This premium fuel contains advanced cleaning agents that help keep engines clean and running smoothly, making it an excellent choice for drivers looking to maintain their vehicles.
BP Loyalty Scheme
BPme Rewards is BP's customer loyalty program designed to reward customers for their purchases at BP petrol stations and shops.
Here’s a breakdown of how it works and what you can gain from being a member. As a member, you can earn points in several ways.
Fuel Purchases: You earn 1 point for every litre of regular fuel you buy and 2 points for every litre of BP's premium Ultimate fuel.
In-Store Purchases: For every pound spent in BP shops, you’ll receive 1 point. However, points are not awarded on certain items like tobacco products, phone cards, stamps, utility cards, and lottery tickets.
To begin earning points, you have a couple of options:
1. Download the BPme App: This is the quickest way to get started. The app provides you with a digital BPme Rewards card that you can scan at the till when making purchases. You can even add this card to your Apple Wallet or Google Pass for easy access.
2. Pick Up a Physical Card: If you prefer having a physical card, you can grab one from any BP store. Just remember to register it online at bpmerewards.co.uk/register to ensure you can redeem your points.
